Hello everyone! I have a member on *Edit* ( pretty similar site if you ask me!) thought maybe I should join this one to.

Well hopefully this will be a long story short, I just want everyone to know where I am currently coming from

I am 18 years old My name is brirttany!I had broken up with my ex about 9 months ago, a week prior to that he jumped in to a relationship with a girl with the same name as me( was my friend to ) and I was devastated beyoun belief. Since than I have been having the emotional ups and downs of this whole healing process. I was doing fine until recently I had been having private calls once a week and each one were to hang up on me! Now the false hope that put in my head is the biggest set back I have had in a while! I finally went to her myspace again, and saw a picture of her wearing a shirt of mine( talk about slap in the face!) I am trying hard to not go there any more, and I think they might be back in elizabeth city for college or some sort..

I am just feeling how I felt a while back ago, This hurts so bad...have you had a first love that you've gotten over, recovered from!??

Of course. Most people have their hearts broken by their first love. It just takes time. You might want to stay off of their myspace pages.

Everyone I have spoke with, has always said " you never really get over your first loves". That is nonsence , than how can you fall in love again?!

How long did it take you to get over your first love? anyone

Of course you get over it, although the length of time it takes may vary. You don't forget it, however. I don't really remember how long it took me to get over it, but I remember that I would make progress and then relapse. It's a process.

haha you're actually lucky. you're getting pranked by another 18 year old?? i have this guy whose calling my house and he's in his 30's... try believing that one. as for your break up, things will get better. that's the way break ups are.
