Yeah i'm pretty serious i play for 5 or 6 years. I play in PGL, the romanian cs league, but there are too many good players here, so i'm not expecting to win anything.

You DO play the updated 1.6 right?

I quit CS because I only made $2K in 7 years and that wasn't enough to keep me alive as I was hoping. The government taxed the living shit out of the prizes AND I had to split it between me and 4 other people. That didn't go well with me.

So, I'm a Quake 4 player now. It's only been out 8 months so I'm likely to get good along with everyone else. Quakecon is coming to my city soon, so that'll be good.

Yes that's the version, i don't like cs source.
I live in romania so it's nonsense to play for the prizes. The team on the first place in the first division gets 1k $. For me it's not possible to get in the first division in the next few years. I play for fun anyway.
I really liked Quake 2 but i think the latest versions are horrible.

Ah.. Well, the prize money in Quake is large so I'm playing professionally now. Also, just because you live in Romania doesn't mean much.
