Thread: Um....Hi...

You see.... how shall i put this.... I think I'm in love with my sister... I know it sounds weird but... I don't really know for sure, I just feel strange when she's around and I can't even look at her straight... My friends say that I act different when she's around... um... is this normal? I'm a year older than she is, she's 15. I can't stop thinking about her... I don't really know what to do...

and if you're not...uhm, i'm almost afraid to ask if it's your whole/real sister...if it is...uhm. that's messed up.

She IS my sister, we're from the same parents... I know it's messed up, that's why i really need some advice....

my first impulse advice would be to tell you to stop having a crush on your sister...my second would be to tell you to stop having a crush on your sister.

and my third would probably go something like "there have been people before you with the same thoughts i'm sure, do NOT act on it. if you're religious..it's a sin. if you're not religious..it's morally wrong in a lot of ways..if you have no morals..i will say again..this is MESSED up."

I've started noticing her as a girl a year ago...since then she's all i think about...

What if he is not kidding? What if there was some mistake and chemicals started flowing between siblings? disturbing...............

Word of advice, find a girl. Get a girl, **** her brains out, **** her some more. Hell propose to the *****, anything to get your sis out of your mind.

i will go against what people have said and i will tell you that you SHOULD go after your sister. you will always wonder what if,.. so you might as well get it out of the way. if she rejects you, then you'll know it was never meant to be. muhahaha

I agree, you know illusional havin' a great deal of experience in this type of situation.

Did something happen to you recently that involved you and your sister? Possibly something traumatic? That could trigger the close feelings you have been having. I strongly suggest you go see a therapist to try and figure out the root of your problems. A lot of times, these things have nothing at all to do with sibling love. You might be avoiding something else completely. Did you recently have a bad breakup? Your sister is a "safe place" to let your feelings reside. It's all psychological. You KNOW that she wont reciprocate so it's safe to like her. You know you wont get hurt by her because she is your sister. I really think you need to see a specialist though and get to the bottom of this. It is not healthy and you are risking ruining things with you and your sister on a family level. Just get help. Nothing wrong with asking for help.

yup.. i secretly steal glances at my sister all the time. it's the new "IN" thing to do. you don't have to bother wasting time getting to know the other person since you've known them for years. you don't have to bother moving out because you share the same roof and the wedding will be a lot cheaper.
