Hi, a recent chain of events with a certain girl led me to this site. I posted a summary of the last few months of my life spent with her. It was a long post, but I needed to get it off my chest.

I'm a 28 year old guy living here and about a year ago, I began what I considered a "starting over". I haven't really made any close friends since then. I've come close but noone that I really let get too close.

Conditioned as a child and later conditioned by myself not to express emotions other than the simplest ones, I have had a hard time making close friends. I've been working on it, but find that I still struggle.

I feel better after I write down something that is on my mind, so I decided to do that. This time though, I posted it online to get some different perspective from others.

I also have intentions of offering any advice, words, or support to anyone who I am able to do so for.

Wow, its nice to hear people say that I will fit in.

I think I've always been able to fit in places, but never truly felt like i "fit in" if you know what i mean.

Most everyone who has ever known me probably thought that I always had everything under control and nothing really bothered me, but that was never the case and it was always too late by the time everyone found out the truth to do anything about it.

So, I'm starting out on here saying that I don't have everything together and I'm not as emotionless as I seem.

I don't think anyone has everything together and if we did, we wouldn't be sharing our problems here on LF. You'll be fine, don't worry!!!!

It was a long and winded<-(consider revising) post, but its<-missing one of these ->' what I needed to do to <-- only a comma, followed by 'to', would suffice get the whole thing off my chest.

I've come close but noone <--? new <--missing the k? that I really let get too close <-- make more clear to reader.

I had been conditioned as a child and later conditioned myself not to express emotions other than the simplest ones <--only shakespear can pull of three verbs/objects in sentence, consider revising. I have been working on changing that, but still find myself struggling with it.

I didn't see any topic sentences.

Too many run on sentences.

You begin too many sentences, using I. Begin sentences with an adjective or verb to interest the reader.

Have a Rough Draft ready by next week. I'll give you a chance to pull your grade up. Good Luck.

I do that all the time in my life. I can speak forever, but usually don't say much. How can I get better at that?

Thanks for grading my work. I have made some changes to the original post. I hope its easier to read and understand.

and i was just kidding about the 'corrections'. i was 'trying' to be funny, and make you feel welcome (i think i did neither)
