General questions about dating/flirting - Love Forum

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some good pointers on flirting, I really want to ask this girl out this fri night just to hang out (we work together) so i'll be seeing her at work tomorrow. She really likes to flirt, especailly with me. But I'm not so flirty back to her, but I really want to be. I just need some good pointers.

Also, ladies, from your experience of being out on dates/being with other guys in a relaxed environment (just hanging out), what kind of questions/topics do you like the guy to bring up or ask you about? I always feel like I don't have a lot to say to this girl and vise versa because were kinda shy with eachother, I just want to seem more open.

Smile a lot at her, make eye contact when talking, listening (and actually LISTEN) to her, and everything you do. Find little reasons to blah blah blah - do a search, I feel like I've typed this 5+ times in the past 2 weeks.

There are tons of threads about how to flirt, etc.

I think you should try to take yourself out of the role of the nervous boy, and try instead to put yourself in the role of the accomodating host whose job is to make your guest feel welcome. This will help take the edge off your nervousness, and it is a technique I always try to use when I am feeling shy. And Tone is right about the eye contact. I can't keep myself from wondering what a man would be like to kiss when he looks me directly in the eye, regardless of what he looks like or what he is talking about (but don't stare, because that is creepy).

Hey guy, I dunno if you know this or not - but there are actually A LOT of women in the world, and go figure, most of them like talkin about all sorts of different things!

Do you not know any of her interests? If the answer is no... then *GASP* perhaps THAT is what you can talk about!!!

They like to talk about themselves. Keep the conversation focused on her, and only bring yourself up if she asks specific questions about you. Oh, and compliment her shoes.

Now that's something I don't like... Talking about myself all the time.. Makes me feel he's got something to hide, or just no life to tell about.. Some info & input from him would be appreciated..

I want an honest opinion. Do girls seriously like the humor mixed with a cocky attitude, someone who always keeps a girl on their feet, someone whos unpredictable?
