send casual messages to guys - Love Forum

Hello there,
I just joined loveforum two seconds ago, and I was wondering if I can get some help with guys.
So, I met this guy at a group dinner last month, and he seemed interested in talking to me once in a while during that dinner.
a few weeks later, I added him to my friendster profile, and although he hadn't logged in to his account for one month, he logged in to add me the same day I sent the invitation.
Now I want to send him a message; I want it to be casual, but the kind of casual that would also draw his interest in replying and keeping in touch.
What shall I say? please help me out.

ok, so how come nobody has even viewed my message?!??!

and this is what he replied two hours later. Is this a good sign by the way? cause no matter how long he hasn't logged in to his account, he logs in on the same day that I message him and messages me back... he also did the same thing when I added him.

It's a good sign Nazli.

Find some common interests you can both talk about and explore (Favourite movies, music, past times). Exchange a few emails. If everything stays friendly see if there's a chance you can both go for a casual trip to a coffee house and just take it from there...

I agree with Mish... Exchange a few emails for a while then move onto a public meeting. Maybe with the friend you mentioned in the first email.

I also agree with Whaywardj... Not really meaning to judge you, but jumping to a conclusion that no-one is replying in such a short time (40mins/2hrs) makes me think you may be a bit insecure, and prone to rushing things. So take it slow, make him work for you as much as you work for him.
