So you mean that he’s just stuck on how a crush should feel versus how love should feel? You’re right. Both may feel the same at first but the crush is more anxiety inducing and that’s how a desire starts, through that anxiety. I’m not sure where to go from here. I haven’t talked to him since we both flew back home. I’m not sure when to contact him if at all. Like do I give him time and space? Or just get back to it as friends?

You donít want to get back as friends really? So donít

If I were you Iíd just find out clearly what he wants.
And then you think about what you want
And if you are compatible in that

I’m not sure if we can be friends, or have a healthy friendship at least for now. I still feel confused and hurt so I don’t think I’m ready. Also I wonder if it’s one of his tricks to keep me on the hook. Not sure.

Your reply does not match my advice
    Please read it again
I am telling you to not be friends

I am telling you to find out what he really wants in regard to you.

That’s what he said. That we both should be friends again once I “move on”. Is that not what he really wants?
