face to face, or a letter?

Hey, I'm slightly shy about telling the person I love exactly how I feel sometimes... I don't know why I just am... and I don't see her that often as we live quite far away.

I was wondering what you think, whether it would be nice for me to write her a letter for christmas or something, to tell her how I felt? - or is this just cowardly lol.

It is better to act then speak.

If you want to tell them, what is your goal? Do you want to be with them or just have them know this information and nothing to happen? Maybe its better if you ask the person out. Even if you do get rejected, its a lot better than wondering for ages whether she likes you or not.

Well.. here's another thing, if you only have one opportunity to see her before Christmas and then won't for xxx weeks, making the approach may not be too good. Have some self-restraint and ask her out when you KNOW she'll be around so taht you can date her. However, the most important message I can give you is this:

NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH A GIRL UNTIL A LOT OF TIME HAS PASSED!!!

Have some self-restraint... be confident and be a challenge. You can initial some interest while at the same time some conditionality is attached to it, meaning, she still has to PROVE HERSELF TO YOU.

I know your advice makes sense...but I can't stop feeling the way I do - this restraint could be hard!
