What are some pointers how to be cocky and play hard to get at the same time? I'm not talking overly cocky where the girl thinks your an ******* and full of yourself, but just enough to the point where they like it.

I think you should skip the "cocky" bit and go for confidence instead. That will serve you longer.

i've gotten very bad reactions when i've put on cocky or concieted airs...well adjusted girls don't like that at all. it's the crazy ones that go for it...and i ain't want no crazy ones...

then why do you want to do it? How about you just be yourself? That way a girl can be attracted to YOU and not your little facade.

Well the girl im kinda with tells me I'm too nice. Which I will admit, I am a little too nice. I need to just pull back a little and be more myself, but at the same I want to be a little cocky. She basically just doesnt like it when guys are really nice to her. I'm usually not over-nice but shes been going through some crap lately and I've tried to be supportive, but she told me to stop. She just wants me to play hard to get and stop being so nice ans she wants me to show her a little attitude, basically my confidence.

She's 18, im 19. I think its just because she knows that I support her, and she knows I care so she doesnt need reinforcment. Well I respect it, it's not like shes a ***** about it either. She just tells me to stop being so nice to her, thats all.

It's not like shes asking me to act differently than i normally act. She just wants to see the otherside of me i guess, I think it's more about her trying to fully learn who I am in the bigger picture.

Well one of the things shes been dealing with is her weight. She jus went to the doctor and she was told shes 20lbs over, and now she says shes fat and ugly. But shes deff not, I wouldnt even think she was overweight by that much, so i was telling her shes beautiful and u look amazing and all that kind of stuff. Finally she started feeling better and she cheered up. So she was kinda in a bad mood for most fo the day yesterday because of that. But Im going to try not being so nice to her, I'll see where that takes me. I'll be my confident self but i just wont act as nice.

You should try telling her she is fat. Maybe she will appreciate that more.

Alright.

She's 18 and she's 20 pounds overweight? Is her mom fat? She has the potential to balloon in about 5-10 years if shes not careful.

It's more important to change who you are to keep someone than to be by yourself.
