| | | Keeping memories I was wondering if it's okay to keep memories..like pictures, letters, gifts from ex-lovers when I'm already going out with a girl right now. I know it is contradictory if I am trying to forget the past, but I don't want to forget it either. Is this wrong? | | Loveforum Breaktime | | | | Loveforum also recommend - Green tea - Help in weight loss and decrease rate of getting cancer.

| | | I keep memories. I would never let a current GF know I did though cause they probably wouldn't like it. From what I've heard on here in the past, a lot of folks think it's a bad idea and don't see any purpose in it.

| | | I never understood this. Why?
So in 10-20 years, when you're married and have a family, you can look back on a relationship that didn't work out?
Pfft. Hell no.

| | | I vote keep it. It will always remain a part of your life, although it's importance will certainly diminish. | |

| | | I used to keep things from old relationships, but didn't feel the need to once I got in my current relationship. I don't know why you'd want to keep it forever either. I think I held onto all of that stuff because I wasn't fully finished with the relationships. | |

| | | | I use to, too... until my at the time g/f found out and threw a fit over it... I ended up takin it all out and throwin it away right in front of her just to get her to stop trippin. Then she gonna say "You didn't have to throw it away for me.."

| | | I still have pictures of a boyfriend I had when I was around 16. I think it is funny to look at them when I come across the album once in a blue moon, and trust me, I am definitely over that "relationship". It's funny to see how young and dorky the guy was who made your heart go pitter-patter way back when. | |

Like letters, ticket stubs, whatever other little things you save, I don't think you need to hold onto those things forever. | |
