burninforyou------Buy her the book or books, wrap it in plain green paper, tie a white satin ribbon around the green package, and slip a red rose beneath the ribbon. Make sure you snip the thorns off the stem.

So you will have given her books she likes, a rose from you, and it's a christmas present in the festive red/green colours.
