I had this problem also. I lost the girl and met her again after long sadness, but when i met her again, I realized that she is not even my type and we differ so much, she is more opposite of me and I dislike most of her ideas. I guess that was the problem why we didn't had any conversation also.
Conversation really depends on sides.
