I prefer 'you' because it is proper English. "Ya" is what you say casually, to your friends.

What is more meaningful to you when someone says this to you?
I love "you"
I love "u"
I love "ya"
I prefer I love "you" because it's the proper way to type is, and say it. "u" and "ya" are said by lazy people, or people that don't mean it. *sigh* What's your opinion??

'I love u' and 'I love you' sound the same.Originally Posted by MJCuevasII

'I love you' seems more complete (an oxymoron?)

You should have enough respect if you love someone, and that means you should have enough respect to not be lazy.
Life only gets worse as we get older.
You mean internet speak?? Or like written in a letter?
"I love you" is usually serious business.
"Love ya!" is usually kinda playful.
"i love u" makes me think of 13 year old girls talking to lilwing on instant message.
I agree with Tone 100%
"Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way. I can't wait to look in the mirror, cause I get better loking each day. To know me is to love me, I must be a hell of a man. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, but I'm doing the best that I can." Mac Davis
who cares?

eh...personally i think that that phrase...no matter how you put is totally meaningless. when i was in 6th grade and a girl would say something of that sort. it would make my day and i would be happy for the whole day. but now, you hear girls say that all the time when you do something for them nice. and it doesn't affect me. lol
in other words. who cares how they say it. what if they have an accent huh?
For me, it depends on the situation. In person, it sounds more personal with a "you". Typed or written is the same. "Love ya" feels more rushed and casual, something that could be directed at anyone. And as far as the "u" goes, that is pure laziness, because it's essentially a "you", just abbreviated....yep, there ya go![]()
Oh geez.... I still think the only time anyone uses "I Love U" is either on the internet or like a message or something....
But I agree with Sombra.... Who cares?

You = normal people
Ya= black people..haha..just kidding....sort of.

I would take "I love you" more seriously then ....."Luv ya" "I love ya" "Luv ya", "Luv u", "Luv ya hun", "Gimme some suga" etc....![]()
