"U" "YA" or "YOU"
What is more meaningful to you when someone says this to you?

I love "you"

I love "u"

I love "ya"

I prefer I love "you" because it's the proper way to type is, and say it. "u" and "ya" are said by lazy people, or people that don't mean it. *sigh* What's your opinion??

I prefer 'you' because it is proper English. "Ya" is what you say casually, to your friends.

'I love u' and 'I love you' sound the same.

'I love ya' seems like s/he kinda loves YOU, but is not all the way there YET.

'I love you' seems more complete (an oxymoron?)

You should have enough respect if you love someone, and that means you should have enough respect to not be lazy.

You mean internet speak?? Or like written in a letter?

"I love you" is usually serious business.

"Love ya!" is usually kinda playful.

"i love u" makes me think of 13 year old girls talking to lilwing on instant message.

eh...personally i think that that phrase...no matter how you put is totally meaningless. when i was in 6th grade and a girl would say something of that sort. it would make my day and i would be happy for the whole day. but now, you hear girls say that all the time when you do something for them nice. and it doesn't affect me. lol

in other words. who cares how they say it. what if they have an accent huh?

For me, it depends on the situation. In person, it sounds more personal with a "you". Typed or written is the same. "Love ya" feels more rushed and casual, something that could be directed at anyone. And as far as the "u" goes, that is pure laziness, because it's essentially a "you", just abbreviated....yep, there ya go

Oh geez.... I still think the only time anyone uses "I Love U" is either on the internet or like a message or something....

But I agree with Sombra.... Who cares?
