i dont get it why some couples are so private on financial buisness , they are in a couple they should be fair with the ammount they make ... its like being married and you dont even know how much each other make per year ...

i understand privacy on your notebooks or something like that but on a check ... no big deal .

Interesting. I'm actually quite private about how much I make.

Now, however....I realize that at the stage I'm at in my current relationship (and in my life) - that I"m going to have to reveal how much I make at some point. He told me the other day how much he got for his bonus check. I don't get a bonus. Nor do I make nearly as much money as him. Though I know he suspects this, he doesn't know how little I actually do make and I think I feel a bit ashamed about it.
