its hard to explain on how you would "know" if they are the right one for you and you'll be with them forever. it all depends on you and how you feel... like how i know that me and my guy will be together always... (Getting married next year!!! AWESOME!!) its always that gut feeling that you have, that you know you'll be together forever with that person.

There is no way to know for certain if you are with the right one, although if you are questioning it before you get married, you should obviously proceed with caution. After that, you have to kind of hope that as you grow, it will be in the same direction as your partner grows. Much of it has to do with luck and sheer determination, because that puppy-love feeling doesn't last in most cases. It's a matter of knowing your own priorities and being very selfless. (The time for selfishness is BEFORE you get married.)
