Ok here's the story. I called the girl I like yesterday to see what she was up to. We talked a little and got on to the subject of movies. I told her she should go with me later that night because I had intentions on doing so. She said yeah she'd go. I said I'll call her at 6, and we hungup. This was at like 11:00 A.M.
The day passed and 6 rolls around. I call her like I said I would, and she said, "Hey just go to that game tonight" She was referring to the San Diego/Miami game that was free down here (Arizona).
I was like, "That line is so long, I don't think you'd want to stand in it. It's a couple miles long!" She was with her sister's boyfriend so I didn't wanna go with him going anyways. Why take a third wheel when I'm trying to put in some work with this girl you know?
She said, "Ok, well anyways let me call you back because I have a few errands to run." I was like, "Ok cool." Then hungup. I didn't mention the movie starting time because she said she'd call me back, and this was over an hour in advance to the movie starting.
Well the movie showing was at 7:20, so I expected her to call me back in time to go. I took a shower after I hungup, and got ready then waited for her call. 7:00 Rolls around, then 7:20 rolls around. I was like, "Ok, maybe we could make it to the 9:20 showing instead." 8:00 Rolls around, 8:45 rolls around, then 9:20 rolls around. She never called back. I'm ready with nowhere to go!
I got stood up. By a girl! HAHA!
Anyways, I can joke about it but it really did hurt. I guess because when you like someone these kind of things mean alot. You know just being with them and looking forward to hanging out.
Well I wrote her an email saying thanks for calling me back and blah blah blah. In the end I said, "I know someone who likes you, but if I wasn't so shy I'd tell you..."
What can I say. I went out with her in 7th grade years ago, and that's how she makes me feel when I'm with her/talking to her. Like a stupid lovestruck little bastard.
I really would have rather showed her how much I like her if we would of hungout that night. I would of tried for a kiss or something but, how can you try those things when you can't even get some time together. I guess I used words because I couldn't ever get the right opportunity to display actions.
What do you guys/girls think of this situation? Would you know that someone liked you if they put that in an email to you? I mean, I don't think she would but I'd laugh if she wrote back saying, "Who likes me? Is it blah blah? No no it's Mike right?"
