| | | Girls.... "wtf" Imagine the day... My girl and I had spent it together, we had alot of fun. Then we drop her friend off at her house and Im driving back to drop her off. She leans against me and cuddles, like girls do... Then she looks sit up straight and asks "Are you sure you want a girlfriend? Its your senior year" I immdiatley stop being all "cuddly" and just stare at her for a while (we were at a stop sign) then I said "What do you mean?" she replied "I didnt mean it like that!" I stated "How else could you have meant that?" I then began to drive and she described to me how much i matter to her, and how if i dont know how much she loves to spend time with me, and that i should know that she does. Then she told me about how excited she gets every time she sees me.
I was pissed... I had reason to be; Not only have I had a girl try to break up with me this way years ago, and instead of cathcing the hint i had simply said "Of course I do" 1 week later her friend had to tell me what was going on. But if i had said something like that I definatley would have meant it as a way to sugercoat a breakup.
So i was pissed, i drove her home... She looked at me for about 15 seconds while we sat in her driveway and then I just said "what are you thinking" She got this pissed off look... Kissed me as fast as she could, climbed out of my truck and slammed the door, and did the stiff arm walk into her house.
What the hell was I supposed to think? and how the hell did she turn that around so Im the one who should feel bad...
So im driving down the road, and I turn and i e-break it, turn around, and go give her something she left in my truck" Then I kiss her... and i told her id see her later. she tells me goodnight
I dont see how I got to the the badman... the main purpose of this post was to vent... But hey! Please tell me your input on how you would have taken the situation, and what I did wrong.. (Especially you girls, who i thought untill now i could easily read...) | | Loveforum Breaktime | | | | Loveforum also recommend - Green tea - Help in weight loss and decrease rate of getting cancer.

| | | I don't understand what you were pissed off about. It seems like a legitimate question to me.

| | | Your a girl right? So you honestly would have asked that to a guy you liked? Expecting him to just tell you yes? | |

| | | It was just an insecure question on her part; you need to lighten up.

| | | I wouldn't have flipped out over it like you did.

| | | I think lots of guys avoid having girlfriends in their senior year. It avoids complications when they go off to college. Are you worried she is trying to break things off?

| | | I agree with Lloyd! There was no intentions behind it(aside from her own insecurity), i think she was just trying to boost her confidence about the relationship!

| | | You got upset because what she asked you brought back bad memories of a situation that happened to you in the past. Is that right?
Just goes to show how past relationship hurt can affect current relationships and confusion ensues.
She may have just been asking the question because she heard from friends that boys like to be single in their senior year so they can have fun and let loose - or something silly like that.
Just straight up answer her question. Tell her you care abot her a lot and no way do you want to be single. As long as it is the truth. | |
