I love my girlfriend, and she tells me she loves me. But, it seems as if she doesn't think I'm the best looking guy. She said I'm not ugly, but I'm "pathetically adorable". She says she loves me and this isn't a problem or anything. But, will a relationship work if your partner doesn't think you're hot/good-looking?
Don't worry about it. I didn't think my girlfriend was hot but it ended up alright for a good year, then I ended it for reasons other than physical stuff.
Not everyone is especially good-looking, but looks are subjective and grow on you when you care about someone. Aren't you glad she doesn't care for you ONLY for your looks?
Yup.......looks aren't everything. If she didn't want to be with you....she wouldn't. So there must be somethin she really likes about you! Don't read into it too much!

Okay, thanks. I was just worried because I've become more and more attracted to her looks over time, probably because I like her so much.
Maybe thats the case for her. I mean....sometimes a guys personality can make an average guy......look alot better in a womans mind. As she has gotten to know you....there must be something that draws her to you. So don't change.....don't try to be someone your not. Just be yourself and appreciate what you have!
