Hello everybody -

Several weeks ago I went to a party at a friends house. I met this girl who is his friend, but I had never met before. We chatted for a while, and I really started to like her. However I didn't want to seem pushy so I didn't ask for her phone number or anything.

Since that party I have met this girl few times. Not on a date or anything, just in a bar and clubs and stuff. We've been dancing and I know that she sees some potential in me... However, the other day I was talking about this girl to our mutual friend (the one who held the party).

He told me that this girl is a twin. Although they don't look anything alike...they still are like a printer and an ink cartridge...they don't operate without each other...

I'm quite afraid that they are too close...and I would be the third wheel although I would be the the boyfriend. Also I've been reading that it is quite common for a twin to have intimacy problems with other people except the other twin.

What do you people think I should do...I actually have no idea if this is something that could last...any suggestions??

So you're not going to pursue a possible love interest because of what "other people say" ?

Give it a try yourself, and tell us what happens.

I'm a twin (fraternal.) Maybe I'm an exception, but although my sister and I are very close, I don't think it plays ANY role in our relations with guys. Where have you read that?

Lovesjoyajm: I just read it in a local magazine (I live in Finland).

I actually don't know anything about it, except from I read in the magazine. I have met her sister, and she is also very kind. But they are so close, they even share the same mobile phone.

However you guys are right, I'm gonna give it a try

That's weird. Seems kind of counter-intuitive, somehow... mobile phones are so... mobile... do they go everywhere together?

I guess it is a lot different than me and my sister. We go to different colleges 2 hours apart, have different friends, etc.

Anyways...seriously you really have to stop assuming things. You don't even know this girl and your already thinking of things that could happen or go wrong... Just jump in and take a chance!
