It makes sense he quit lasting the relationship coz of his family problems. If you have a problem,it's not easy to take care of your sweetie. I broke up with my ex after my only bro died.

I have to agree... I mean.....family problems can put everything into a different perspective. I ended up breaking up with my bf....after my dad died. I think that was the easiest time to do it...and it was honestly for the best. Before that....the breaking up process was hard for me to handle......but its funny in a ironic way how other shit happens and suddenly other stuff seems so trivial.

Honestly though.......when someone has something happen to them....one reaction is to push people away. Sometimes they just need that time to themselves. You have to respect that. I would not just wait for him....but be there if he wants to talk. Be supportive....but only if he asks for support. But in reality you cannot put your life on hold. So don't.
