| All I can say is that you will more likely earn her respect by understanding what a tough job granny has (imagine all the boys who will be coming around in the next 10 years trying to sleep with this girl!) and by giving her very good reason to trust you. Remember that trust is usually EARNED rather than given, so prove to granny that you are worthy of trust. Be polite. Be punctual. Show her your report card (assuming it is good) and your boy scout patch collection to demonstrate that you are responsible. (You know what kind of stuff you have done that is worth being proud of...)
Also, if she DOES give her permission, don't violate her trust.
