my insecurity is killing me

can any1 help me? How do i stop being so damn insecure... i tried telling myself to take it slowly and keeping myself distracted but i can't stop thinking about it.

Don't forget that everyone around you faces the same shit that you do every day. And somehow they manage. You are no fundamentally different. You'll manage too.

Also, often the cause of insecurity is anxiety about others' opinion of you. Remember: nobody cares what *you* do, people only care about themselves.

If worst comes to worst and you can't seem to get rid of it, there's always counseling. Not the "nuthouse" but just someone helping you to find ways to deal with it. A completely respectable way to deal with things.

Since you posted on this forum I'm guessing your insecurity has to do with women. What you need to understand is that women eat, sleep, and shit just like you. They are not magical creature and if you **** up with one of them there are still 3.2 billion others out there. Buddy, so you're insecure, what the hell do you expect to gain from this forum? Some "magic phrase" that will fix it all for you? A new pharmaceutical drug that will make you confident? I think you know what I'm going to say... GO MAKE A MOVE!!!

If you never make a move you will never deal with insecurity. You need to understand, rejection is no big thing, I've been rejected a number of times and it sure as hell doesn't hurt my ego or "ruin my life." I have one exercise for you, and if you do this it will change your life. I want YOU, 300zx, to go out and ask random girls for their phone #'s until you get 10 rejections (that means, if they give you their number it doesn't count). I'm not going to spoil it for you, but I'll tell you this, you'll be surprised at what you discover.
