Should i call him or not?!? - Love Forum

ok i'm a sophmore in college, and this past semester i met a guy that i really liked. and not even for looks. he is a pretty average looking guy but he had all the important stuff to offer. so we hit it off great. in the beginning he had a gf of 6 years but they broke up like 2 months into the semester. We flirted like crazy all semseter, finally it was the day of the final and he asked for my number. ofcourse i gave it to him, he wrote his down for me too! we talked for a few minutes after class like always, and he said he would definately call me over break. now its been like 3 weeks and still no word from him. i'm like 99 percent sure he was interested in me. we had great personalities for each other and not to be concieted but most people would say that i was too good looking for him. the only reason i can see for him not calling is he got back together with his ex which is totally fine, or he put my number in his phone wrong....he never wrote it down, just put it straight in there. i'm just left here wondering if i should call him??? someone please help!

Well I guess it is possible he could have added your number wrong, it's also possible he doesnt have the courage to call, also could be he got back with his ex(or another girl), it could be that he is no longer interested. Or it could be that you missed his call somehow?!? We could keep looking for reasons why he hasn't called yet but, is any of them truly going to answer your curiosity on why he hasn't touched base with you yet? Maybe so, or maybe not. If not then the only way to find out is from him. There couldn't be much harm in calling. He did give you his number for a reason, I would think.

Yeah totally agree.

You have absolutely nothing to lose by giving him a ring and, as LightOn said, HE initiated it by asking/giving you his number. Call him up and just say something like 'hi there, just found ya number, was wondering how you're doing?' and take it from there. His responces and tone should give you a fair idea if he is indeed back with his ex or another girl... but if it's all good... well take it from there...

thanks you guys im gonna call him tomorrow nite(sat) to see if he wants to meet up. I had to work to late tonite so i couldnt use ur advice yet. but i*ll keep u informed. i just have to call him though to ease my mind. it is like driving me nuts people!
