How long till he says "I love you"

I am wondering how long does it take for a guy to say i love. Guys how long do you usually take, and girls how long untill he says it.

For me, I don't say it unless I know FOR SURE that I'm gonna hear it back. So it could be a long time for me. For example, me and my ex dated for over a year. Never said it to her once throughout that time. However I never HEARD it once throughout that time either.

Well-for me I waited until I knew for sure how I felt about the person. Unlike Alexi it wasnt a matter of saying it until I thought they would say it. But I guess it depends on the guy, how affectionate he is, etc. Some men might not even say it all. They show EVERY sign they're in love with you, but just dont. I have a lot of friends in this case.

Really depends on the man and his comfort level with you, where the relationship is or going. There isnt a "time" thats right or wrong, could be a month, could be a year. Hell, wouldnt it be nice to know it when it did happen for them? Cause they know how they feel, and have felt it for awhile, just didnt let you know it then!!! Aw well, it happens when hes ready. or not.

This is the problem with the world, "I love you" has become not only overused, but overrated. Now people come to expect it after a certain amount of time, it doesn't work like that.

I do not say it unless I've truly falling for the person, or else why use it? "Love" is sacred, not just another subject to become standard-ized by todays society.

Innova you are deep man. Sometimes it hurts me just to read your posts because I feel I dont' aspire to the level I should. I feel like another someone in a group not an individual.. ANYWAYS ENOUGH RAMBLING..

Squirrleys right it depends on the guy. Most of the time the girl will have to say it first though so the guy doesn't feel like an idiot when he says it and its not returned. If you love him tell him.

But uh make sure you distinguish between loving him and being in love with him. Being in love with him is much deeper than just loving him, it's wonderful its magical its the time of your life. So uh don't throw the words im in love with you around, because they really should mean something.
