The uncomfertable kiss

My girlfriend and I have been dating for a while now and we deepley love each other. Before me she got out of a 7 year relationship with this guy, who happens to be her babies father. So every now and then he is around and shes not herself. I know theres nothing between them but she is uncomfertable with something as simple as giving me a kiss. Is this normal or what??

Let's ask this, if you were in her situation, would you think its uncomfortable? Considering the fact that 7 years is a long time, I think it would be...Quite frankly I dont think you should expect her to...In this case it's up to her, if she dont want to, thats all there is to it.

Hey thats ****ing wierd that she wouldn't kiss you in front of him. It's either shes secretly hoping to get back together with him or she's embaressed of you. I wouldn't stand for that. Say she has to kiss you in front of him because it makes you think shes not wanting to let this ex of hers know you two are serious. C'mon what could her reason be for not wanting to kiss you?!!

Who cares if it was 7 years it's over and you can't live in the past forever. Being who I am I would be furious with her/him if they didn't kiss me in front of an ex when i went to kiss them. Just too wierd.

I think if you have been with someone for 7 years and you have loved that person, it would be awkward, even if you didn't still love them. You need to talk to her about your feelings but at the same time let her talk about her feelings. Hear both sids before you judge.
