okay so theres this guy I volunteer with in my church group who i like, but idk if he likes me. the way I look at it we are so similar..we have the same interests and have the same problems. and I dont know whether or not he likes me, but he always comes up to me and talks to me whenever he can, and acts weird whenever I talk to other guys. And also he acts the same exact way that I do when I'm with someone that i like, like he always tries to get attention and everything. We've NEVER talked before these first few weeks...ever...and I didn't even know him until like two weeks ago where we just started talking and that's when I started liking him, and when he started to kinda...follow me around and start conversations? He would act like we've known each other for forever when it's only just been a couple weeks. I think he might just be friendly and just wants to be friends, though, because I'm not sure but he seems to act that way with all the girls he's friends with. But we seem pretty close like friend-wise even if we've only known each other for a few weeks. we talk a lot. Plus apparently my friend who knows him says he has a girlfriend but he's never mentioned that to me, and when i asked him he said he didn't.

So yeah. what do u think? i know this is kinda not enough info

Just keep doing what you're doing and see if he asks you out I guess. You've only known each other for a few weeks, it's too early to make any conclusions.

i agree with the two above, if you say your friend says that he's got a girlfriend and has never mentioned her, then theres a possibilty he's sick of her? and wants someone new?

If he says he doesn't have a girlfriend, I'd believe him until you have reason not to.

From what you say, it seems like he's flirty, so it could be that he likes you unless he's a really flirty guy with everyone. Does he do that to other girls?

You two sound very compatible already and it's good that you have common interests.

I agree with the others, you don't have a reason to believe he has a gf but I'd also spend a few more weeks really getting to know this person.

One main sign that someone likes you is eye contact. Do you catch his eye from across the room? Does he glance away when you do this? - if he looks back at you again that's a good sign. If he smiles when he looks back at you, that's a really good sign.

Also, when talking to him, usually if people are interested in what you are saying, their attention will be focused entirely on you. Eg they won't constantly glance at the clock, play with their hands or stare down at the ground ect.

If they are interested, they'll copy your body language and his body will be facing you. Like when you fold your arms - does he fold his?
