Asking a girl out - Love Forum

Hey,
I'm just kinda curious to know how some of the guys get to asking a girl out know you don't really know or from the girls how they like a guy to lead up to it.

Sort of like, if you meet someone, you usually talk a bit and it either heads in the direction of the girl really liking it and seems ready to ask out or else it just doesn't, you can sort of tell...

... For the girls, what makes it click? What does he say or do or how does the conversation go that makes it go that way so you are so into him rather than tailing off the talking to the next guy?

Just kind of curious about this one.

As a girl I would say a guy only has to come up and chat with me be funny and hold a conversation without staring at my breasts and I would give him my phone number.

it depends on the attitude of both i guess. from what girls have been telling me, they know within the first minute or so if she will even consider any guy...that's your first impressions job to see what it needs to do to get her to "like"/attract you. don't expect anything when you see someone really nice you want to get at. just expect to meet someone new, other things will come along i guarantee it.

I know it sounds really stupid and cheesy to ask, but thats kind of how I was brought up, not really talking about these things or going to dances or out like a lot of people seem to do when they're teenagers so going out and meeting people in this way is sort of new and I don't really know where you cross the line. I mean some people seem to hop from bf/gf to the next, never seeming to be without on because they can just approach people. I know you have to but then again I hate coming across too forward because it seems like a turn off to me.. Lot to learn.. All in the fun of it I suppose

you got it. i was the same way too. i was seeing these people going from one person to the next. it kinda sickened me because it was an image thing back in high school. you had to be with someone because of the social presence you needed. not necessarily the love portion of it. you get to realize that being social means more than relationships, it means friendship, when you get comfortable with that, everything else is easy. go get em!

I was brought up exactly the same way, and I've always felt uncomfortable having to deal with situations involving girls I was attracted to.
