| How do I ask her again? This is a question that kind of stems back to a question I asked sometime ago. But here's the story. There's this girl that I like and we work for the same company. Not in the same department though. About a month ago, I had asked her out to lunch. She accepted but when the day came, she had to reschedule our lunch because she said she was too busy. However, it would have to be after when I come back from a trip I was going to go that I had planned earlier. She knew about my trip as well. So when I got back from my trip, I went to her desk and we chatted. Chatted about my trip and how everything was going with her. Our conversation ended and before we left our ways, I had asked her again about going to lunch. This time, instead of accepting, she said she was going to be busy on this project for the next few weeks. And after her project ends, we could go to lunch.
So weeks have past and her project has ended. During those weeks, we did speak on occasional times and we actually did do a brief lunch together last week, though it was more of a company event and we only were at lunch for about 30 minutes, but with a group of people. But now that her project has ended, I wanted to ask her again whether she would like to go to lunch with me again. Hopefully we would be going to lunch this time around.
My question is, how should I approach her about asking her to lunch again? I don't want to come off as a person who has been waiting for so long just to ask her to lunch. I really don't want to seem too desperate as well. So how should I ask her to lunch? Should I just call her office desk and ask her about remembering out lunch we missed a while ago? I like this girl and I would hope to eventually ask her out on a formal date later. Any suggestions on how I should ask her would be appreciated. Thanks. |
