just look over and give her a smile. if your walking keep walking. if your sitting or whatever. keep doing what you are doing.
holding her hand. however it feels natural. usually lacing the fingers, that is the more intimate form.
moving in for a hug. go for it. i'm sure you hugged a famliy member a million times. it's the same motion. just hold on a bit longer.
