And there are gonna be those obvious ones that they want in a guy, but won't know if the guy has it UNTIL they've dated them so it won't help you get a date (such as faithfullness. I'd assume most girls want a guy that's faithful, but how you gonna get a date knowing that? You gonna go up to a girl and say, "Hi. My names Bob. I'm faithful.")
Maybe what you should do is focus on where you're meeting your girls, what kind of girl YOU'RE looking for, and check out the guys that typically get the girl that you're looking for. For instance, if your friend has this awesome girlfriend, where'd he meet her? Maybe you should hang out there too. How does he dress? If you're rockin' the dirty T-shirt with holes and grungy pants and he's wearing Gap clothing, maybe it's time for you to start thinking about fine-tuning your image a bit.
All I'm saying is that the replies you might get with a question like this may not help you at all. One girl might respond with stuff like, "Sweet, caring, devoted, handsome" but you won't be able to show that you're sweet caring and devoted until you start dating. And you don't know what HER version of handsome is. For all you know, she might like guys with dark hair and you might be a blonde.
However if you have more SPECIFIC questions to ask, maybe we can all help you out a little bit more. General questions never seem to work.
