Alright, the girl I was in love with broke up with me on Sunday evening. I've been through the crying and being all upset. My two female friends have helped me through the whole ordeal. Well now I want to be with one of them already. Is there something wrong with me because I want to so soon after what happened?

It's probably a rebound thing. You miss the relationship feeling and are looking for someone (ANYONE) to fill that. Lots of people go through that 'rebound' phase.

okay, well I've known the girl I want to be with for a while and I know I don't want a relationship with her that is a rebound thing. I've discussed that with her. I actually want a good relationship with her, considering I thought about being with her before I ended up with that other girl. I guess I'm asking if I do get into a relationship with her this soon, is there a chance that it will last, especially since I care very much for her?

It depends on both of you. It takes two to start a relationship. If you both are up for a relationship together then chances are that it will last. But you'll never know what will happen in the future. Just think and hope that you two will last for as long as you two are happy with each other. With a bit of arguements here and then. Don't think that you'll last together forever. Chances are that you might end up with her for the rest of your life but also you might not. So just work it together and enjoy the time you'll have with her.
