I talked to her again about the homecoming and she's already made plans w/ the cheerleaders to go as a group....so maybe i'll ask her out a different time.

She kept telling me that i had to go until i got a ticket to it....so i guess i am going....i got invited to a party before it and we're all going as a group.

It was weird because i was sick a day last week and i came back the next day and she came up to me and said "You NEED to nominate yourself for the drawing to become the sophomore attendant to the homecoming." The "attendant" is sort of like the king & queen of the grade. (i don't know if other schools call them that) First of all, i had no clue what she was talking about because i was gone the day that they announced it....I found out that she did not want to with the only guy who had signed up (i don't blame her, no one would want to). So she said "I nominated myself, not you need to nominate yourself or else i'll nominate you; you have my vote" So, either way, i was going to be nominated for the drawing. The drawing was at lunch....so she bugged me about it all morning until i put my name in...Coincidentally, neither one of us won lol. (like 5 other girls told me to nominate myself....this is like the 1st time that this has happened)

So later i was bugging a girl about the homecoming saying i wasnt going because she was the one putting the party on that i was invited to. I said "since i didn't win, i don't have to go anymore" Somehow the girl i like heard it and told me that i was still going....so...now im going since i guess she wants me too.....and it might be more fun this year.

Well, homecoming was today.....(for the record, her and i don't like rap music) so my group got there and she was w/ hers (her friends (all girls) who went as a group) she did not have a date. The problem was....most of the dances were not slow dances and didn't need someone else to dance with. Any song that she wasnt already dancing to were rap songs so not much of a chance to dance w/ her there. When the slow dances came around, she missed a couple of them because she was outside. The other one, she danced w/ someone who asked her as i came up to her. yeah i was going to ask her on that one but that stupid kid asked her. Luckily, it was a short song....she kept looking at me throughout it lol. She looked at me the whole dance, acting like she was waiting for me to ask her. I did ask her (finally lol) and i got to dance w/ her. It was a slow dance She was really happy i asked too. We didn't have much of a choice for songs (it was the last song unfortunately) and so it was and i quote "My Heart Will Go On from Titanic"

Not my choice of songs, but the point is, i got to dance w/ her and we had fun w/ it.

Actually, like 5 girls asked me lol but im really glad that her and i got the last dance together

since i did not ask her to the homecoming, people told me to ask her out to do something. So i asked her to go ice skating with me and she said yes. So now we're planning on going ice skating together as soon as we can
