G/F's evil step-mom...(Part 2)

I made a post about this a while ago...well looks like it happened all over again.

I don't know what to think. This seems like she (stepmom) is toying with me here.

3 weeks ago this Sunday was my birthday (Sep 5). I was invited over for a birthday dinner on Sat but my g/f got in trouble for something so I wasn't invited. Fine, I'm not too concerned. I was a little hurt but I got over it.

Now, 3 weeks later, I am invited again for dinner to make up for my birthday. I was told about this a week ago so I'm like that's good.

Well it's Friday. As usual, I call my g/f everyday and so I call her up to find out about when I should come and stuff. Just by the way she talks on the phone I had an idea something was up but I always play the cheerful type and don't let anything bother me...

Me: "Hey, wassup"
Her: "Nothing."
Me: "So what's the word for this Saturday?"
Her: "....Guess.."
Me: "What?"
Her: "I got in trouble."
Me: "And"
Her: "I don't think we're doing anything this weekend."

The last I saw my g/f was Tue. when I just went over for coffe, where I basically just hung out for a few hours and at the same time talked about what kind of food we were having.

Plus Sunday we were to spend the day shopping for stuff she needs for her graduation that's next week.

It's hard enough to see my g/f, since she lives far and has a tigh curfew. Seems like the weekend is my only time.

****, I was in such a good mood today thinking about the weekend, and now I hear this and I feel so hurt and don't know what to think.

BTW, my g/f's dad is supercool. But he is so pussywhipped that he can't do anything. I dunno if I should ask to talk to him on the phone or not.
