i really don't know if there is a certain time frame ur supposed to follow. i mean if you for sure feel it than say it. me, i would never say it to someone i was only with for like a month or two. we were just talking about this at work the other day. i'm sure there are special circumstances, like you started dating a good friend and stuff. but for me unless there is a circumstance i can't see saying it that early. but that's just me. i have found that those 3 words usually enter the picture somewhere around 6 months. by then i usually know for sure. but its all up to you, just be sure of how you feel. b/c it's something that you really can't take back once it's out there.

Yeah, I agree with abercrom, I said it after about 3 months, but I had been good friends with the girl for almost a year before dating her, and had known her casually for about 3 or 4 years before that. Just make sure that you truly feel it, and then t will be the right thing to say

this is true. another thing, the girl usually will come and tell you, then you say "i love you too"

unfortunately, i told my g/f i was in love with her 3 times and each time i failed to get anything back it hurt like a ****ing bitch!! then a few months ago she told me she had been in love w/ me for a few weeks but she didn't want to tell me because she was scared i'd get pissed @ her. we now are in a very happy relationship, 8 months and counting

Most likely the girl will either say it first, or she will give a hint as to what shes thinking. If you ever get into a conversation about love be like "You have no idea how much I care for you" and depending on her response, keep insisting that you care more. If she says back "you'd be suprised" or "No, I defenately win this one" or something along those lines, be like "theres a fine line between loving someone, and being in love with them..." and continue from there.

I think the way I messed up with the girl I've liked the most is precisely showing too much interest while she wasn't reciprocating it. This is why I would agree that it's a good strategy not to tell someone you love them, even if you do, until they reach that level...but if the other person is also doing the same thing?? Imagine Flexi and Amber together..they'd never ever say it!! Nah, I think eventually someone would have the presence of mind to read the signs and take the chance...but it's always a risk because you never know how the other feels...you can only increase your degree of certainty, but never reach 100%.
