do you want to have a stable relationship with a girl who studies medicine and is going to be a doctor, or with an ordinary girl who is not going to be professional? Assume, you truly like both of them and they both like you really much , who would you choose?

Good question....

Doesn't matter to me overall, but by a very slight margin I probably would select 'ordinary girl'. It really depends upon the dynamics of the individual relationship though.

For example, my niece is very happily married to a young Doctor. (Think Duggie Howser, that's his nick-name) A great guy, and he does a fine job of balancing out his professional duties as well as his responsibities to his wife and kids. Then again, she's the type of person that understands that if he receives a phone call at 3am, he HAS to go to the hospital for an emergency. But it takes two people working together, if you know what I mean. Maybe they are a unique case.

Again, I'm not looking for barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen but given the option, I'd choose ordinarly girl.

Doctor, but not for the money. It would just be a compatibility thing with my particular personality.

Which one is hotter? In any case a doctor/nurse gets some extra points cause they can take care of you better when you're sick, and it'd be cool to play doctor with a real doctor.

It shouldn't matter what their profession/career is going to be like. All that SHOULD matter is whether you enjoy being with that person and if you can see yourself with them in the future.

well, i think that i'd have to go with the chick that doesn't act like a stupid school girl. you know the type. and if they both are cool, then you got a fix on your hands son. play em'

ok, don't play em' since you wanna get married... really it's up to you. which one do you find yourself enjoying your time with better.

But seriously, it doesn't matter, but some guys at a later age might get a little intimidated with a girl that's bank rolling more than he is..

So yeah I agree, it's really with the people and their ego's.

guys always hate when the wife is to smart
can never get away with anything
always telling you what to do
they make good money
but money aint the thing
and when your a doctor
you get hit on alot

Who says the ordinary girl can't hold an intelligent conversation? I'm an "ordinary" guy who is (at the moment) a UPS worker. Doesn't mean I can't hold an intelligent conversation.

that is a tough one, only because docters tend to be very buzy, and i need to be around my girl, but at the same time, i respect a woman who has a drive to do something more with herself, than work an average job for 50 years..it would be tough, based on that information alone, but in a 'real' situation, i would not base anything off of her proffesion/career..in the end- its irrelevant.

um..what guys hate when a wife is too smart? is that a joke..? what insecure bastard wants his partner to be a dumb ass? ANY girl will tell you what to do and when to do it, if you let them. and if shes NOT a ho, i dont think you hafto worry about guys hitting on her, cause in reality, ANY girl gets hit on nonstop throughout her life, chris rock said it best "from the time you were 13, every guy you ever met has wanted to **** you"
