How can u tell if i guy likes u?

There's this guy i like and things happen which make me think he likes me such as
1) taking my stuff and making me (play) fight him for it
2) teasing me in a flirty kind of way
3) including me in conversations with his friends

But then some things happen which make me think he doesn't fancy me such as
1) talking to and looking at other girls - especially the pretty and popular ones

So what do you think?
He may be the type who flirts with every girl
Is there any other way to tell if a guy likes you?
Any little signs?

He probably likes you and maybe thinks one of the other girls are hot... see what he does around them. I do that all the time =D

- loving/liking girl will react on that with attack
- friend will try to help him or make fun from it

If there are other pretty girls around and he's single and you two are not in any kind of even remotely serious relationship..he's going to go ahead and cast his line in many directions and see what he can reel in...then he'll either keep the one he likes best or try to juggle many at a time and end up with no lunch.

Does he like you? The sign you described points to yes. Does he like you exclusively? Obviously not at this point. Maybe if you express some interest back and see where it goes you'll catch more signs on whether he's decided to focus on pursuing you exclusively.

I did these all with a girl I used to like...and she did the same with me, cept she didn't like me, she was the very flirty promiscuous type though. In the end she was a bitch. I'm sure that didn't help you though. Don't jump to conclusions, that's all I have to say.

I hate it when people say that
If I was to ask him it would ruin everything.
Even if he did like me there is no way he would just tell me if I asked.
Asking him would cause the whole situation to become aukward and we would never be able to have a normal conversation again. I don't want to risk whatever we have.

Nomas has some great words here. In fact, I agree wholeheartedly. I'd say to maybe be a little less subtle with the flirtation. Maybe try to be a little more obvious with your implications of liking him. It may lessen his doubts about you liking him.

sasha-he only wouldnt answer, if he A: doesnt like you, or B: is a pussy, its only akward if you guys are both insecure, in which case, avoid it all together, wasting your time..if you cant even confront each other on if your attracted, i doubt anything more could come of it.
