HELP ME! I need guy some advie

Ok. So I need some major advice. 2 of my friends are head over heals in love with this one guy. And hadn't really talked to him, but when i would be walking through the halls my 2 friend would say hi to him and he would say a quick hi to them and then (for some odd reason) lock eyes with me. I really thought nothing of it, I mean I thought he was cute but I didn't know him that well. Well the the other night another one of my friends had a party, well i was there and so was "the guy". Well my to friend where all over him (and about 3 other girls0 where all over him) well when he finally got some air (meaning they left him alone...for about a min.) We started to talk and then one of the girls comes over and pounds on him, gives me an evil look and then Kicks me in my bad knee. Well he's one of the Sweetest guys ive ever met and and hes not the type of guy that wants all the girls oll over him at one time.well we sat there for about 7 min and he was not happy, and i said something like "oh. poor thing" and he sid somethign " well at least sombody cares" and pushes her off his lap, grabs my hand and says come on. We go into the next room and where talking and some off my other friends come in and where all talking when she comes in and between me and him! well im fed up so i get up and walk off with and 2 other friend and where talking and 1 said he was checking me out and the other said he was checking the some other girl out and...... im confused. What di u guys think? help please?

Thanks...Your right, what is my Problem? I'll just go with the flow. Now all I have to do is make shoure my 2 friend dont kill me and my best friend(who is a guy by the way) doesn't go up to him and bash him in the head. Damn...Ill have to stop that....., wish me luck.
