In Stud Terkels (SP? on the name) book Working he intreviewed people with various jobs. And the one by the prostitute was very intresting. The working gal said that white guys wanted the hispanic girls and the hispanic guys wanted the white girls.

Sometimes I guess the grass is greaner on the other side.

And when I was in college I know some blacks would not date other blacks because of the sicle(sp? tired should take a nap and get offline) cell deal.

If your in an area where mixing races is Kosher it does provide genetic diversity.

I think you should just date whoever you're interested in, regardless of race. Where I live (Vancouver, Canada), it is VERY multicultural, and interracial couples are pretty common. Most people here date outside their race at some point. My long term bf is east indian and I'm white, and no one really thinks anything of it (except for some of the really old indian ladies...but sometimes its fun to shock them).
There are a lot of white/asian couples here, but like everyone here has mentioned, its mostly white guys with asian girls, but I know a few couple that are asian men wit white girls. It seems however, that asian families seem to be the 'most' racist.....they generally have a harder time with accepting different races into their families.
And to answer the original question....i would definately date an asian guy, so long as he had the qualities I wanted in a bf. I've met a few I found pretty hot, too.
