I try to set up a date with her, but she realizes that we live too far apart. Then she tells me she's just met someone who's more in her neighborhood but tells me I'm still welcome to see her.
Am I reading mixed messages here? Is she trying to blow me off but is afraid to say it? Should I still try to pursue the relationship even though it's a long-distance one? you know wht this iam not trying to disappoint you but this long dist dating just wont workout. Well I have nothing against dating, but i dated 2 (girls) though in different periods of time and both are long distance.one was from tx and the other from WI and i live in IL. ANd both of them hooked up with someone else in their locality. though we ve seen each other like 3 or 4 times (in both cases), 99.99% long distance dating wont work out. Prolly find another girl who is in ur city atleasr u have a chance to see her more often.

| | | aww cybog be gentle..well im currently seeing someone down the country from me and i have been for 4 months he is moving closer to me next month..so for the person who said they dont work..i guess your wrong because im happy.Maybe by meeting someone in her areas she is trying to save herself from the pain of being so far away from you...but as your only in early stages id just leave it and tell her to make her mind up over who she wants.By giving you the oppurtunity to still see her is quite mean and is really leading you on.
