I need some inputs (EVERYONE READ)

First of all I'm new to the board......

Now the situation I'm trying to discuss may be rare....maybe it's based on geographical location...but I live in Dearborn, MI (anybody else here from MI also?)

Please read this carefully to understand my situation....

I've been told many times that I am good looking (I have tan, I'm in good shape and everything)....so picking up girls shouldn't be a problem for me....... except the problem is, where I live, there are very few available females.....

Just about every female I have asked out (in Dearborn MI btw), have told me the same thing "I have a boyfriend," and I'm startin to get sick of the same (and lame) excuses.....the funny thing is, these females like to get all up on my business, asking me what I'm doing or what I got planned for the weekend, basically leading me on.

The sad part tho, is, this girl I really liked, she knew it, and she liked me the same (I can see it in her expressions and eyes)....and I didn't even rush the situation....I been seeing her from time to time, so I finally decided to make the move (which any fella would have done)....and she said off the bat that she got a b/f....and she ain't the first girl to tell me that.

What could be the reason I was unsuccessful at hooking up with this girl? I had the confidence, I had the looks, there was some chemistry between the both of us..... Was she scared to take the chance? Was she not allowed to date a customer? Did she consider honesty with her b/f ( I don't even think she has one, I think she made it up.....if she does, then why did she have her eyes on me?), or do I need to give it more time (I gave it a few months I think)..... or is she playing mind games?

I'm considering looking outside of Dearborn, I've only lived here for a couple years, but I've had a bad experience as far as trying to hook up with girls out here....where I lived before, it was no where as bad......

Anyway, everybody feel free to post up your input, every advice is helpful

hahaha... honestly i just think that you have bad luck. everywhere you go things will be the same. either the girl has a bf or she's single. however, i think because you start to get to know people, if you're not willing to deal with the run around, straight up ask them.. if they have a bf. that way you won't waste your time with a chase or a feeling of being lead on. raverboy

Yeah I guess it's bad luck... it may be the same everywhere, but most females I hooked up with in the past weren't even from this city.....but yeah you're 90% right I think

I was close to hookin up with this girl, she was single, from the same city I live at, then she started throwing insults at me, had a cocky attitude, the more I knew her, the less I liked her.... she looks like a straight up tomboy now lol, when I first met her she was decent looking.

I guess my best bet at this point is to go to single clubs and places like that.

hrmm...to be honest, maybe they love your looks, but have you questioned your own personality?? sometimes it takes a look from the outside to actually figure out what others think of you. just another suggestion. raverboy

I have the personality and everything, they love it too..... I just hooked up with somebody recently and I guess things may be looking good after all..... I might have been at a confused state of mind, cuz females don't speak their minds like that (and who knows what's running through their minds lol), and that most of them expect you to make your move. Maybe understanding the way they think is the key.
