Say you pass a girl you like at college what would she think if you smiled and winked at her?? Would she find it cheesey or flattering???

My IT teacher used to do that to us students. Not as a pick up line but as a greeting, it was super ghey and we all suspected him to be a kiddy fiddler. So my answer to your Q is... Cheesy

It's only ok if you are well known for being a cheesy jackass. Then its almost expected.

there is a guy at school that i like and he is always winking and smiling at me. which i really like , is very flattering and sweet. always puts a smile on my face cause it tells me that he is interested in me.

Hmmmmm... I think i'll take your advice guys and just keep to a simple 'hi'!

A bit off subject but a girl I liked was walking through the 'playground' at college and I was chatting with a group of friends, she looked at me smiled and then did a small wave (Ican't really decribe how) so I waved back and smiled. Am I just getting my hopes up or could this be a hint???
I know this must sound a bit crazy but I was just wondering.
