You're going out with that nice girl, suddenly you're finding out that she was dating your friend and :
a) that she treated him really rough
or
b) that she cared too much and become really obsessed about him
whatever!

| | | I wouldn't pay any attention to what my friends said either. Most guys other than me, from what i've seen, wouldn't be stupid enough to follow what others say. As time goes on, younger people become a little wiser with each generation.
You can't blame him if he thinks twice about it though, he's in a harder position than you'd think. But in the end, he shouldn't care what his friends think. I wouldn't either.

raverboy i meant she was dating him before , not at the same time
how about if that's your close friend ? and he has actually been going out with her , so he rather knows what he's sayin and pretends to protect you from being hurt?

its not me having problems with my friends but its that guy i fancy and i assume that this kind of situation has occured.. i mean i dont know which case.. but talking in general just wanted to know what you men do and how do you interpretate best friends opinions...
if everybody told you the girl is bitchy, boring etc. i really doubt you would go out with her in public

| | | diesel.. i think that you shouldn't really have to worry. i would think that your friend is looking out for your best intesions. he's probably not trying to hurt your relationship, but being that he already got burned by this girl once before, he wouldn't want the same thing to happen to you. remember if you get burned, he will say that he told you so, but just tell him that you wanted to learn things the hard way. you never know, just take a chance.
