well I like this kinda shy girl and she's leaving for college in less than a month..well she knows that I like her,but has told me she doesnt want to start anything that she's leaving soon. well now when her and I walk past each other she'll look at me and have a serious look where other times she'll look in a different direction once walking past.pretty much avoiding like... I know when girls like a guy they'll smile and so on,but is it possible when they give serious looks ..could that possibly mean liking??
Um. She told you. In words. No need to read anything into her looking/smiling/walking/any other action now. As a matter of fact, why don't you look at *other* girls.

well she might think that you're a good looking guy, but the matter is that she doesn't want to start a relationship so i wouldn't even bother. flirting might be nice, but just remember that, it's probably as far as you will get with her. raverboy

...this is just my perspective on the situation...
I'm not saying it's the case here... But do girls ever say no to guys in order to test in their intentions? ie. Guy just wanted to get some action, so he is unwilling to stay around as the true friend. Or... Do girls ever say no, even though the want to be with the guy, or are just afraid/confused?
