Bit confused

I broke up with my ex 2 months ago. I loved her but I could just not put up with her issues and problems and to keep my sanity I left her. I still feel it was the right decission but still miss her every day and are basically sad about it every day. To go back is 100% out of the question.

I met some one new. I actually briefly met her once, before me and my ex had anything going and I was attracted to her. Now that I'm dating this new woman I just don't feel any attraction to her and think it is because I'm still in the process of getting over my ex.

So I don't know if I must continue seeing this new woman because I'm kind of scared that I might hurt her. Been on two dates so far. If I look into things right then I think she's really into me. I would be greatfull for any insights anybody might have.

I've had a similar experiance, one girl I left had so many issues that I became disgusted with women in general, I'm not anymore though. Not sure if that's what ya may be feeling like or not. Hopefully you don't.

You say you are scared you might hurt this new chick if ya leave her...Well what kept you with your ex? Was it the same principle? If you are not happy with this new chick, then let her go, it's what's best.

There is no good remedy for what you are going through, only time. My best suggestion is to go out hang out with friends, look up long lost pals, meet new women.

In a way I feel the same, but if I look at things logically then it's irrational to think that all woman are like that.

Me and my ex have been together for 6 months in all. She treated me like a dog for no reason at all. (childish) and had loads and loads of problems & issues. The last straw was that she told me that she didn't like sex because she did'nt like a sweaty man ontop of her. (In the same conversation she talked about marriage and stuff about our children we would have, etc..)

Basically what kept me with my ex is that we had incredible highs/chemicals. Really good times when she wasn't in one of her moods. I would count the hours for the next time I see her, and she told me the same kind of thing when I left her.

With my ex I didn't stay just because I would hurt her when I left.

I get along incredibly well with this new chick but I just don't see us working out well and I don't understand why. She's good looking, we share the same interests, etc.. kind of wierds me out.

Yes very irrational. It's good to remain optimisitic and I believe you are.

The sex thing would be hard to swollow, could she have been saying that just to make you upset?

I guess there is no chemistry with this new chick? Ya may need some time off from the dating game to regroup your emotions and stuff.

Not sure if she said that to hurt me but I won't go into a sexless marriage. If she said that to hurt me then I was thinking that it's the last time she hurts me because it's like she specialized in ripping my guts out every once in a while. (she can't think for herself or she's just an abbusive person) Either way I think she's a dangerous person when it comes to relationships and I won't be able to handle all her problems and issues. I get the idea she hates men, probably on a subconscious level or something.

Yeah, no chemistry with the new chick.
