i say take this as a lesson to tell people how you feel about them while they're around. it's easier than what you're experiencing now wouldn't you say? i don't know how far you had to send the letter but here in the u.s. it takes our snail mail system only a day or two to get a letter somewhere. but you can't always expect a response, much less a favorable one, even if you have asked for one. that's just how it goes my dear. you told her and that's something. many people don't get that far.
