confused about dating...

I have been friends witht his guy at work for about 10 months now. we recently in the past 2 months have started hanging out and kissing and stuff.. never had sex yet. i have slept over his place a handful of times. we have a really good time together. i just feel so confused as to where we stand. i feel i get mixed messages. he acts like he likes me when we are together but at times i don't know. last night we were with his friends and i feel like he doesn't show affection to me around them and it makes me wonder...is he embarrassed? also he really never calls me. If we hang out on friday we will say goodnight and he will says see you on monday at work and i don't hear from him. I just feel like i need to ask him where we stand...would that be bad to do? If i ask how would i go about saying this?

ask him ... tell him .... be honest and be loving when u ask him ... first tell him in simple words how much he means to you ... dont gush just simple plain words ... and then see what he has to say ... if he keeps a bull pup ... then ask him quietly and simply ...

that ios my advice but i would also suggest asking some other experienced peolpe in thuis forum through PM if u want ....
