How do you (or would you) react when your significant other doesn't call you when they say they will?

by the way.. i don't have a significant other now, but, when I was your age, I reacted the same way and it led to a lot of unnecessary drama.

you just need to learn to chill.

Sometimes a person will just kinda forget, or even (GASP!) just not feel like calling.

Give the poor bastard a break.

And for one thing.

Tell him it bothers you.

So that at least he knows.

But don't expect that after you tell him he'll suddenly call every day on the hour.

If you keep that attitude you can ruin a good thing.

Yeah dude my friend in tryin' get my computer back on his domain, broke my internet yesterday.

I called him but he was sleeping all day.

So I had to drive after a long hard day at work to that bastard's house, with my computer so that I could for one thing get my internet back, and secondly pick up the videocard I buyin' from him.

Note that I said he knows that it pisses me off because I talk to him about it, and we move on.

And I also said I don't care when he calls...there is no "hour" I expect him to call on.

I never said that when he doesn't call I freak out and go physco ***** on his ass and threaten to castrate him. :-D When hes out at the bar and he says he'll call, I think he should call. I do think you guys are right, I'm taking it too seriously, but I'm also wondering how everyone else reacts when their boyfriend or girlfriend doesn't call.

Again, I don't have a significant other.

My friend calls me everyday. The only time he doesn't call is when he's hanging out with this girl that he likes. Sure, I want to talk with him, but I don't freak out or anything. I have other friends to talk with.

But on those nights when he does hang out with her and he thinks to text me or call me, then, I freak out because that means he's hurt about something.

So now, when he does hang out with her, I'm super worried that he's hurting again. And I just wait to hear if he's okay, or not okay, and on those nights, I can't sleep.
