| | | Jealousy between friends. Okay I have a lady friend whom she knows I like her, and I think she likes me to a degree. but she has a boyfriend But she is getting jealous when I hang out with other women. She has told me that she doesn't like me as a boyfriend (yet) and yet she gets jealous when she see's me with someone else or if she knows I am with some one else.
What do you think of it? Does she really care for me? Or am I just looking at it too much in detail?

| | | she is obviously possessive over you, which could be a good thing on your part. I advise you to go after other girls-- maybe she will realize that you are important aspect of her life. ---"you never know what you've got till its gone"--- | |

| | | People want what they can't have. Bottom line... she's acting on feelings she's not entriely sure she has for you. If she liked you enough she'd be dating you not this other guy.. she may be feeling jealousy but the truth is she's not doing anything about it, so until she does, go have fun with anyone you want. | |

| | | Stay away unless she is single - she sounds like trouble. A good girl would hide her feelings of jealousy (knowing they are inappropriate) or break things off with her boyfriend. | |

| | | CONTROLLING!! RUN AWAY!!
Let her do the worrying. It sounds like she wants something she cant have, and the thrill of that keeps her going. I dont know where she gets off acting like that.
Make her come to you.

Thanks for the reply. She has been with her current boyfriend for 3 years now. I met her right after they got together. I liked her then, but I did not do anything about it. Then I disappeared from her group of friends and only saw her a few times until This past New Years of 05 is when we kinda got started being best friends. We got real real close. And I got feelings for her, and I think she has the same feeling for me. But she is afraid of change because she has been with this guy for 3 years now.
I am not going to make her choose which person she wants to be with because that is not my decision. So I am going to wait. But she keeps throwing these things my way. But she says other things. So I am confused. haha. I do like her alot, and I am willing to wait. No matter how long. but if something better comes my way I will go after it. But as it goes now I am not being jumped with tons of women crawling all over me
Thanks for the replies.

She may like you but not enough to break up with her bf of 3 yrs that is a serious relationship. 3 yrs is a long time to be with someone is there any signs that she wants to break up with him? i wouldnt worry about her jealous go and see whatever girl you want.

Thanks for the replies. You may be confused about her mixed signals, but you certainly don't seem confused about your own feelings, which is good. It seems to me you've answered your own question here. You're willing to wait for her, but if someone else comes along, you'll go for the other girl. It's a good choice, since you're keeping your options open. A fair compromise between being completely committed to this girl you like now and possible other girls later on (which may be better or not).
But to question this girl, what made her like this guy in the first place? And what kept them happy before these fights? And after answering that, how do you know it won't be the same if she went with you? What do they fight over? A possibility is that they fight because she gets jealous of her guy friends.

They fight because she does all of the house work at his house. In which she doesn't live at all of the time. She is 21 and he is 30. They mainly fight because he treats her like a little kid. I am the same age as her and we just click because we are alike in many ways. But I don't know what she is waiting for. Maybe she thinks he will change. But since I have been real real close to her he has told her 5 or 6 times that he will change, but he always reverts back to his normal ways of being a dick and treating her bad.
I wish I had all of the answers and what and where. But I just have my confusion and my questions...
Josh
