| | | Not again... Yeah it's been over a year since I last asked for advice, however I see this more as a mean to vent, than seek advice. For all the old LF'rs, you'll still remember my sticky predicament, guess what folks!? It's happened again . Why the hell do I do this to myself!? Is it something in the genes!?
:: Sigh ::
Life sucks eh?
EDIT: For people who have no idea what I am talking about, here is the link to what I believe to be my first ever thread entailing what seems to be a reoccuring problem. Help please...
If you'd notice the replies I made in the thread made a year ago, you'll notice I've come along way. I've matured alot, however grown very cynical/sarcastic...

Anyway, it'll pass. Infatuation.

| | | Uea, it's hard.
I have to admit I had my own share of this. My last infatuation was with a college professor. Oh, what a hottie!
Anyway, you just have to keep telling yourself that it's only an infatuation and that nothing is going to come out of it.

| | | Kiechi - most people get crushes on at least one of their professors. I have had several. Who doesn't love hearing someone talk about something they are passionate and knowledgeable about? I find it to be very academically motivating! Just keep in mind that outside the classroom, they are probably just as unappealing as the rest of us because no one can talk about their jobs for long without becoming boring. By the way, I will bet you are crushing on a liberal arts professor - right? (sigh) I love those guys! | |

| | | Yeah, those would be liberal arts classes. I LOVED my English professor! I took him for 3 different classes, and yeah, I was definitely the teacher's pet. Then I stopped taking him because I didn't want him to think I was a stalker. I sure do miss him!
I also really liked a biology teacher I had last semester - I am taking him again in the fall. He tutored me a lot outside regular class time, both in person and via email. He kinda looked like Russell Crowe. Yummy! | |

| | | I think the appeal of liberal arts professors is that they speak about things of interest to the heart (as opposed to math or science classes) so you get to know them in a very human way. That is why it is so common for students to love them. Poor Kiechi! You should at least take comfort in knowing you are definitely not alone! | |
